Educative work is an integral part of the educational process and occupies an important place in the strategic development of the Academy.

Academy’s educative work focuses on the formation of a harmonious personality, creating the conditions to realize students’ creative potential, their spiritual, moral and physical self-improvement. Educational work follows such landmarks as the responsibility for the development of Kazakhstan's society, willingness to protect democratic reforms, formation of active youth position; developing various forms of self-management, problem solving skills; social protection of youth.

Mission of the department of educative work is to create favorable environment for the development of socially responsible individuals, social support of the students, to involve the youth in social and cultural activities of the Academy, to implement of the national youth policy programs, support and protection of social and cultural interests of students.

The main directions of educative work are:

• patriotic and civil education;

• spiritual, moral and aesthetic education;

• legal education;

• improving religious literacy of students and prevention of extremism;

• physical education and promotion of healthy lifestyles;

• economic education and environmental education;

• fostering tolerance and inter-ethnic harmony.

Tasks

• Promoting the ideas of civil peace and harmony among students 

• Development and implementation of the social and cultural programs designed for solution of problems of the youth 

• Organization of leisure, development of creative potential and active life position, legal literacy

• Assist the Student’ Government

• Promotion of healthy lifestyle among the students

• Organization of sports activities 

• Cooperation with different youth organizations

Educative work is implemented on the levels of departments, student groups, YC (Youth Committee) and other structural subdivisions of the Academy.

Organization and management of educative process is supervised by vice-rector for educative work.

Students greatly interested in such activities as "the Day of Knowledge", "the Students Initiation ceremony", the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan, festival "Retro", Nauryz holiday, sports tournaments, International Women's Day and the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

One of the prevailing forms of educative work - is "the Council of curators". The specifics of this system are the participation of all the curators, all faculty and staff in the education of students.

In order to improve the system of curators we have developed a number of regulations: the Regulation on the curators, the Curator’s Journal, the Regulation on the Board of supervisors.

Particular importance is given to the promotion and implementation of the main provisions of the annual Message of the President of Kazakhstan. Academy has conducted comprehensive measures to explain the priorities of the Message of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

One of the main priorities of the educative work is to increase the students’ legal awareness, prevent the crime among the youth and promote anti-corruption activities. In order to implement this priority Academy on regularly holds round tables, debates and different educative lectures.

Eurasian Law Academy pays particular attention to the problems of social protection.

Academy provides following social support to its students:

• Financial compensation for lunches to students from the number of orphans and children left without parental care;

• Financial compensation for the purchase of clothing, footwear and soft stock to students from the number of orphans and children left without parental care;

• Providing incentives for accommodation in dormitories;

• discounts on tuition to those students who are orphans or left without parental care, students with disabilities, students from large, low-income, single-parent families, excellent students;

• Payment of the premiums to top students, activists and students with material difficulties;

• Financial support in specific life circumstances.
