On November 14, 2017, Eurasian Law Academy named after D.A.Kunayev held the event dedicated to the Financier’s Day and the 20th anniversary of the national currency - tenge.
Kazakhstani currency have gone through difficult and turbulent times: several waves of devaluation, an annual inflation up to 3061%, but still having been recognized in 2004 as the best currency among the CIS countries. Today, tenge is the economic backbone of the independence, a symbol of sovereignty, a part of modern history and the future of Kazakhstan.
Speakers were:
- Torekul Samat Kanatovich – Head of Guarantee Depository Funds of Kazakhstan;
- Ziyabekov Beisenbek Ziyabekovich – Doctor of economic sciences, professor, consultant of the National Bank;
- Mukataev Bakhyt – a student of the first year majoring in Government and local administration;
- Muratsha Adilzhan – another freshmen student studying Government and local administration.
