        On October 13, 2017 Eurasian Law Academy named after D.A. Kunayev held a meeting with the professional boxer Kanat Islam. During the meeting, attended by students of the first and second year, one of the students read a poem

dedicated to Kanat Islam. The boxer answered various questions. At the end of the event the rector, Doctor of Juridical Sciences, Professor Zhalairi Omirali Shakarapuly awarded Kanat Islam the "Honorary Professor" title. Administration of the Academy, hospitable as usual, gifted honorary guest with a traditional Kazakh white shapan (coat). Kanat Islam thanked the management and students of the Academy for the warm welcome and participated a memorable photoshoot.
