On January 12, Kazakhstan held the Day of Remembrance in honor of the 105th anniversary of the birth of D.A.Kunayev. Dimash Akhmedovich Kunayev was a great son of the Kazakh people and during the Soviet Union era done a lot for his motherland

Kazakhstan. Lots of people - relatives and colleagues of D.A.Kunayev, public figures, intellectuals and ordinary residents of Almaty - came to the memorial of D.A.Kunayev to pay tribute and lay bouquets. The administration, faculty and students of the Eurasian Law Academy named after D.A.Kunayev also attended the event. The participants observed a minute of silence in memory of D.A.Kunayev.
     Round table on the topic of "D.A.Kunayev and his time" was held in the museum of Dinmukhamed Kunayev located in Eurasian Law Academy due to his 105th anniversary. Various colleagues of D.A.Kunayev like Auhadiev K.M., S.S. Zhienbayev, Izbasar B., as well as leader of the "Attan – Kazakhstan!" movement Amantay kazhy and many other notable people participated round table. Kunayev’s fellow colleagues addressed the audience. Academy teachers, students and guests listened to them saying many good words about this great man and watched a film about the life of Dinmukhamed Kunayev. Upon end of the round table, in accordance with the traditions of the Kazakh people, all guests where invited for Kudai tamak.
     Students of our Academy will always honor the memory of this great leader of the Kazakh people.
