The educational program "State and local government" in the direction of training "Business and Management" is developed taking into account the needs of the republican, regional and local labor market on the basis of the state educational standard in the relevant direction of training. A distinctive feature of the program is the training of specialists in the field of intellectual property and Internet technologies; PSC specialists, government bodies, professional managers and economists in all industries.

Level of educational program: Bachelor's degree (based on general secondary education).

Awarded degree: Bachelor of Business and Management under the educational program 6В04102 - "State and Local Government".

Total amount of credits: 240 ECTS.

Form and term of study: full-time, 4 years.

• To systematize and generalize information, prepare proposals for improving the system of state and local government

• Apply quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis when making managerial decisions, and build economic, financial and organizational and managerial models

• Use adequate tools and technologies of management, development and adoption of organizational and managerial decisions for the implementation of strategic and operational tasks

• Have the skills to collect, process information and participate in the informatization of the activities of the relevant authorities and organizations

• Own the basic technologies for the formation and promotion of the image of the state and local service, basic technologies for the formation of public opinion

• Develop socio-economic projects (development programs), assess economic, social, political conditions and consequences of the implementation of state (local) programs

• Develop drafts of normative and non-normative legal acts, prepare opinions on normative legal acts in accordance with the rules of legal technique

• Participate in the formation of programs for industrial and innovative development, assess their effectiveness, organize investment, innovative activities

• Find organizational and managerial decisions, evaluate the results and consequences of the adopted managerial decisions and the willingness to bear responsibility for them from the standpoint of the social significance of the decisions made.

Managerial positions, economists, managers in the Office and Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; offices of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan; various structural divisions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan; in the economic and financial management bodies, in the justice bodies, in local government bodies (akimats of districts, cities, regions) and executive bodies; in public service centers, in national public and private companies and others.

The program was created in cooperation with the RSU Treasury Department for the Almaty Region, the Government for Citizens State Corporation, Forte Bank JSC, the State Revenue Department for Almaty, the Karasai Regional Treasury Department, the Akim's Office of the Bostandyk District of Almaty.
