The department of quality management systems, participating in the development and development of an effective quality management system for the main activities of the Academy based on the requirements of MS ISO 9001-2008 and ST RK ISO 9001-2009, plays an important role in ensuring the quality assurance and transparency of the education system, passing state certification and international accreditation. In November 2009, the Education Quality Management System (QMS) was introduced at the D.A. Kunaev University. As a result of the certification audit carried out by the Russian Register Association and the International Certification Network, the Academy's QMS was recognized as complying with the requirements of IS ISO 9001-2008, and the Academy was issued a certificate.

In March 2013, at the D.A. Kunaev University (reorganized in 2013 into the Humanitarian Institute named after D.A. Kunaev), a recertification audit was conducted for compliance with the requirements of MS ISO 9001-2008 and ST RK ISO 9001-2009, as a result of which a certificate of conformity No. 009501 dated 29 was obtained. 03 .2013, issued by the Certification Association "Russian Register".

In September 2015, the Academy conducted a recertification audit for compliance with the requirements of MS ISO 9001-2008 and ST RK ISO 9001-2009 standards, as a result of which a certificate of conformity was obtained.
